U.S. Government: The things you don't know

The United States government as of now has had over time 8 patients that they give marijuana.They have done this for decades. 4 have died ,so only four remain. 2 of these patients receive 8 oz. each month (320 joints) the other two receive 9oz. (360 joints) each month. The government has time and time again said that marijuana has no medical purposes, but yet they are giving out almost 1400 joints a month. These aren't the only people out there who have these conditions. As of now there are 16 states and DC that have legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes. There are another 16 states with pending bills. This country needs to realize that there is nothing wrong with marijuana. Marijuana is illegal because back in the 1930s a big guy in the lumber industry made videos that made marijuana look bad. It was also believed to make white women go have sexual relations with black males. These things have evolved into the way everyone views marijuana today.

Hemp is possibly the greatest and most useful plant out there. It can replace all wood products. It is way more durable, more grows in one harvest than in a huge forest, and It saves the trees in the environment. The United States is the only industrialized country in the world that doesn't grow hemp. This is because hemp is looked at as the same as marijuana. In fact they are actually cousins. The thing about hemp is that you cant not get high off of it. The crazy thing is, we still can use the product just not grow it. That is more money in the pockets of people who are in a completely different country. The reason they won't legalize hemp is because apparently it looks just like a marijuana plant from the sky. This is just not true hemp has a very long stalk and marijuana is much shorter. Another thing they say is that you could hide a marijuana plant in a group of hemp. This is another failed attempt at an argument. What happens when you put a marijuana plant next to a hemp plant? Well basically The hemp plant kills the potency of the marijuana, so overtime the marijuana plant would yield nothing.
